No. 03 After a storm
6 signs your roof took storm damage.
A lot of hail and wind damage isn’t visible from the ground. Here’s what we look for up close — and a few things you can spot yourself from the driveway.
- 01
Missing or curled shingles
Wind lifts and tears shingles; UV and impact make them curl at the edges.
- 02
Dents in gutters & vents
Soft metal shows hail first — dimples in gutters, downspouts, and vent caps.
- 03
Granules in the downspouts
Piles of shingle grit at the base of a downspout mean the surface is wearing through.
- 04
Water stains on the ceiling
A brown ring inside usually means water has been getting in for a while.
- 05
Cracked or bent flashing
The metal around chimneys and valleys is where most real leaks actually start.
- 06
Daylight in the attic
Light coming through the roof deck is a clear sign the envelope has been breached.

Questions homeowners ask us.
Is the roof inspection really free?
Yes. We come out, look over your roof, and give you an honest summary at no cost and with no obligation. If your roof is in good shape, we'll tell you — there's no catch.
Do you pressure homeowners to file an insurance claim?
No. Whether to file is entirely your decision. We simply document what we find with dated photos and a written description so that, if you do choose to file, you have the facts to support it.
What areas do you serve?
We're based in Centennial and serve the surrounding Front Range, including Littleton, Highlands Ranch, Greenwood Village, Lone Tree, Parker, and Aurora. Call us if you're nearby and not sure — we'll let you know.
What are your hours?
We're available 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM, seven days a week. If you've got an active leak, call and we'll help you figure out next steps.
How do I know if a storm actually damaged my roof?
A lot of hail and wind damage isn't visible from the ground — bruised shingles, cracked seals, or dented metal. The safest move after a storm is a free inspection, where we check the roof up close and show you photos of anything we find.
My ceiling is leaking right now — what should I do?
Put a bucket down, move anything valuable out of the way, and call us. Leaks rarely start directly above the stain, so we trace the water back to its real source and fix the cause rather than just the spot below it.
